Some additional Debian armel repositories

Here are repositories of packages for Debian armel systems.

armel-lenny has some packages that didn't make it into the lenny distribution as well as JACK with the ALSA and firewire drivers enabled
armel-lenny+crunch has standard FP-intensive lenny packages recompiled with MaverickCrunch FPU acceleration
armel-squeeze+crunch crunch-accelerates FP-intensive packages for the more recent squeeze distribution

For the best in Debian armel lenny, your /etc/apt/sources.list file should contain something like:

    deb http://security.debian.org lenny/updates main
    deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian lenny main
    deb http://debian-multimedia.org lenny main
    deb http://simplemachines.it/debian armel-lenny/

and if you have a Cirrus Logic EP93xx CPU add

    deb http://simplemachines.it/debian armel-lenny+crunch/

and say "apt-get update; apt-get upgrade" as root.

For the current stable release of Debian ("squeeze"), only the Crunch-accelerated repository is relevant:

    deb http://simplemachines.it/debian armel-squeeze+crunch/

Most of the armel-lenny packages are built from unmodified Debian sources or result from adding "armel" to the appropriate Architecture: lines in debian/control. Where changes were necessary to a source package, the relevant patch file is in the armel-lenny-patches directory.
